| Introduction | Gav- First time out was on a cold and windy day day on Leighton reservoir at the back end of 2008. Fished hard for 8 hours in the most horrendous wind and rain with nothing to show for it except a tired, bored and drenched lass to share a car with on the way home. Things haven't got much better since then, apart from his lass doesn't accompany him anymore. ********Sue/Ste - From humble coarse fishing roots, Sue had a go of the legendary Ralph Johnston's fly rod on a trip to Loch Tummel. 1st cast, snagged. Keeping quiet to avoid the ribbing that would ensue he set about removing the snag, its moving he thought, hold on, its moving the other way, fuck, there's a fucking fish on it, mental. Been trying since then. no progress. |
