| Introduction | I was born Vilai Holaban in the year of 1973. My mother chose that name, it means 'waterfall.' A newborn child, she saw my energy as a refreshing, calm waterfall, cascading gently onto rocks. On finding out the meaning of my name, I felt my mother had made a mistake. Gradually, it became apparent that she had chosen correctly and I started to liken it to my life. My life began and continued to float from place to place, with nowhere to rest, troubled and constantly searching for somewhere to belong. |
