| Introduction | I started yachting when I was fifteen when my father purchased a Hobie 16. From there the life style took hold and I have never looked back. While attending Orange Coast College I immediately found the sailing team. Not being a naturally talented sailor, I found myself having to work harder to keep par with the team. Hard work leads me to lettering that year and the following year. I was then asked to coach the OCC sailing team . After college my next step was to find a REAL JOB! I am a coach so the natural step was to sell something I loved. I have now been a yacht broker for 32 years with over 500 sales. 12 Trans Pacs and over 42 races past Cabo San Lucas. I still look to heading out to sea each year although my true joy is going to Catalina with my family. In my mind there is nothing better than playing with your kid on the beach in Catalina. Life is to short not to own a boat. Len Bose |
