| Introduction | When I was 6 years old, I remember having the distinct realization that time is relative. Sitting in school staring at the clock, a minute seemed to last a lifetime! But when I was out playing or doing something that I was passionate about, an hour could go by and seem like 5 minutes! Therefore, I came to the conclusion that time itself is relative to ones situation and perspective. Time is transient and ephemeral. Time is like us. And it is my intent to bring your attention to this in my jewelry…to create a small space where time slows down a little. Our lives can often be so rapidly paced, I hope to create a new place where an exhale can last a lifetime and beauty knows no bounds! After all… …we are just visitors here, we are not permanent. |
