About me

Gender Female
Location Seattle, Washington
Introduction I'd rather not.
Interests Streetlights, candy necklaces, pretending to tap dance, taking off socks, smashing bottles of wine on the concrete floor at Costco, punching holes in paper, wishing I could've experienced all the romance of past decades, putting on socks, writing strange things on other peoples to-do lists, counting blades of grass, black crayons, poking hobos, knocking over ladders, tying my shoes faster than other people do, snowflakes, eating, admiring quilts (especially those built using only the mind) poking peoples noses and giggling at the odd sensation it produces, looking for rainbows, counting cracks in the sidewalk, reading really old, dusty books, wandering dark corridores in dramatic clothing for the dramatic effect, jumping, boiling water, reading Pitchfork, getting dressed, dancing in the rain and... Smiling. :)
Favorite Movies Almost Famous, Edward Scissorhands, Donnie Darko, High Fidelity, Groundhog Day, The Princess Bride, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Pulp Fiction, Say Anything, Sixteen Candles, The Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink. I really like movies that romanticize the 1980s, for some reason :). And I ADORE JOHN HUGHES. May he rest in peace. I really like Kubrick's noirs, especially Lolita. I also love Xanadu, Breakfast at Tiffany's, 500 Days Of Summer, Mermaids, Where The Wild Things Are, The Wizard of Oz, and a copious amount of Disney movies. :) Especially Toy Story and Toy Story 2. Documentaries that offend my parents are also a lot of fun. I fell asleep during The Terminator. Yeah.

Favorite Books Haha. Charles Dickens, Shakespeare. Make what you will of THAT. I also adore turn of the century german writers with intentions of abolishing everything we know and believe in. Malcolm Gladwell is really cool too! So is Don Dellilo. I have read Twilight, and went through a brief phase where I forgot how cool I am and got a little wrapped up in the idea of making out with vampires. But now I'm back to normal and memorizing passages of Sherlock Holmes... God I'm a nerd.... :) I also ADORE John Green and Sarah Dessen novels are my guilty pleasure. I love Jazz Poetry and Beat novelists as well, especially Jack Kerouac. I also love Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald and the aforementioned Shakespeare (Hamlet, A Midsummer Night's Dream, Macbeth, Romeo and Juliet) and Dickens (A Tale of Two Cities, and Great Expectations). I also love A Clockwork Orange. And speaking it's made-up language. :D I've recently rediscovered "Where the Wild Things Are" and love it just as much as I did as a child, especially it's genius illustrations. I plan on publishing a book before I turn 16. :)
