About me

Gender FEMALE
Occupation Queen Homebody
Location The Pacific Northwest, United States
Introduction I happily reside in the magnificent Pacific Northwest with my wonderful husband......I'm the Mum to a perfectly terrific daughter (41 years old) and grandma (Hemma) to my adorable 12 year old grandson. He is the joy of my heart. I looked forward to being a grandma for so long, but truly didn't expect the bliss I've experienced. I make THINGS.....all sorts of stuff.......I'm a thrifty girl, so if I can re-make something that's doubly swell for me! Making my little cottage a cozy home is my passion! I love my Jesus and am so grateful for my salvation. Thanks so very much for coming by to visit me. I so appreciate it. Warmly, Spencer
Interests Decorating, sewing, paper arts, quilting, painting and whatever other fun little projects I can find! I LOVE making things, particularly when it involves re-making a pre-loved item. Now that's FUN!
Favorite Movies Gone With the Wind, Steel Magnolias, Sleepless in Seattle, White Christmas, Holiday Inn, It's a Wonderful Life and The Sound of Music.
Favorite Music Keb Mo, Na Leo, Nora Jones, Taj Mahal and all kinds of oldies especially from the 40's.....yeah, I'm an oldie too! :-)
Favorite Books I love to read, however, I read for pure pleasure and hopefully something that will make me laugh out loud! My goal isn't to become an expert on anything, just to be entertained. Some of my favorites are: Tara Road and Scarlet Feather; Mauve Binchy, The Woman of Substance series, Barbara Taylor Bradford; The Sweet Potato Queens series; Jill Connor Browne, Marrying Mom and Young Wives; Olivia Goldsmith, The Shell Seekers; Rosamund Pilcher, Summer Sisters; Judy Blume, The Saving Graces; Patricia Gaffney, Patty Jane's House of Curl, Tall Pine Polka and Angry Housewives Eating Bon Bons; Lorna Landvick, Milk Glass Moon and Big Stone Gap; Adriana Trigiani, and The Memory Keeper's Daughter; Kim Edwards.

You get to ride the big roller coaster three times in a row. What will keep your dad from taking a bite out of your candy apple?

Hmmmmm.....my Dad's in Heaven....do they eat candied apples there?
