| Introduction | I love being on the road, be it a half-day trip in the surrounding area or a long vacation far far away. I like the great outdoors and am a big fan of hiking, no matter how long or short the trail. While I appreciate a museum or a visit to a city once in a while, I usually prefer nature and all that comes with it. No matter where I go, I can usually be found there with my camera. Landscapes, animals (especially in their natural habitat), flowers, architecture or whatever else may capture my attention – if I feel inspired by the moment, I will also capture it with my camera. When I can't be on the road, I try and let my mind wander with travel literature. Books with an ironic approach to how we stumble through our encounters with the unknown can provide a great laugh. Finally, I have Crohn's Disease, so I am slightly obsessed with toilets and other spots along the road that are suitable for „big business“. No matter what, my goal is to prove that in spite of this, anything's possible. If not now, then later. |
