Introduction	Sean Shapiro is a freelance writer and perennial noodge. Making his debut in the South African fanzine Lolita 17 (founded by Frank Bailey and Luiz De Barros) he and co-editor Dominic Lee went on to found the (now defunct) culture magazine, MIMIzine. Since then he has worked as a freelance copywriter (big name clients at VWV Interactive included Volkswagen Polo, South African Airways and Nando’s), a freelance spec-script reader, and a freelance journalist for such varied publications as The Star newspaper, Get the Funk Out and the Jewish Quarterly.
