| Introduction | Why Banglajowls? Well, it's a long story. I come from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England, and have a fairly "rotund" face. Hence, my mates all called me "Jowls". The Bangla part comes from my involvement with the International Cricket game where my preferred team is Bangladesh. Banglajowls seemed a pretty decent call-sign to me. I love sport! All kinds of sport. I'm fast approaching 50 years old and retired from playing football as of 2 years ago. That was the end of my road in terms of personal participation. Nowadays it's limited to being a spectator, or playing sports replay games...hence this blog! |
