Introduction	From copy editor to caregiver: I was a newspaper reporter/copy editor for more than 30 years, but now I'm living the dream in my parents' basement. Here, I am cook, maid, medication dispenser, health adviser, financial adviser, organizer, technology guru, real estate adviser and general home maintenance person. I grew up in Minnesota and have a daughter and a son, and a granddaughter. I have three cats, which makes five for our household with my parents' two. Not all get along, but they tolerate one another. Kind of. My best friend said a recent Facebook photo post summed me up well: I always have a camera, I love cats, and I want people to be nice to one another. I love to think, I love to write, and I love to write what I think. My thoughts range from the weird to the wondrous.
