About me

Introduction Overall, I love the outdoors. I'm indoors now writing this, but sometimes you can't always have what you want. Think I've heard that somewhere before! For most of my adult years I worked as an OB/GYN physician. Now that I'm disabled, I have turned more of my attention to stories I've wanted to write and the art I wanted to get back to. You can peruse my website if you'd like, jakehatmacher.wordpress.com. My novels have dealt with real things that women often face. Much of the knowledge of that was garnered through my work, but some also from just being alive and having women as some of my friends. The stories are fictional, but as I like to describe my books, they are touched with truth and sprinkled with fantasy. If you pick one up, I hope you will enjoy. Happy tales to you!
