| Introduction | Be Salamati or in other words, "Cheers to your Health". This blog will serve as an outlet for me to share my love for ethnic foods! In no way am I a culinary expert, but I wholeheartedly enjoy cooking with spices and fresh ingredients, the basis of a healthy and delicious cuisine which I like to call "West marries Middle East!" I should note that my love for Middle Eastern food was no accident, I just so happened to fall in love with an Iranian born now Canadian/Iranian man…my love for his culture and food was soon to follow. I hope that my blog will encourage you to explore traditional Middle-Eastern cuisine and find creative ways to make it your own. A little bit of tumeric and saffron goes a long way! |
