| Introduction | I have always been a sporty person. Like most other kids, I grew up dreaming of becoming a footballer, race car driver, rubgy player etc and it almost came true!! Had trials for many pro clubs, Southampton, Bournemouth etc and was even recommended to the Arsenal by the great Bob Wilson!! But unfortunately, nothing came of it!! After years of trying, I finally came to the realisation that I wasn't going to make it pro and stuck with the semi-pro game. Injury ended my goalkeeping days and that is when I found triathlon!! 3 Ironmans and numerous other tris later, I am still going strong and hopefully one day, I might even get to Kona - even if it is on just a holiday ;-) |
