| Introduction | A full time mom to 2 children and part-time pharmacist. My husband and I have been married for 14 years. The 4 of us are hoping to expand our family to 5 with a child from Africa - hopefully sometime in 2009. Our family life verse is "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer 29:11 and the verse that was given to us when we were still considering whether adoption was something we were supposed to pursue is "If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, how can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." 1 John 3:17&18 |
