I love the language and am aware everyday how Latin and ancient culture enriches my experience of English (and other languages), The shadow of Latin dwells beneath so many of our English words. When you know Latin, you see it everywhere. Knowledge of another language and culture deepens one's knowledge of one's own. I enjoy sharing my Latin passion with high school students. |
