Introduction	Carol Pighin graduated from San Francisco State University and is a native Californian. Carol and her family moved to Charlotte in 1995. She studied art at CPCC with Elizabeth Ross and Isaac Payne, at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Braitman Studios in Charlotte with Andy Braitman, and many workshops including Barbara Jaenicke, Larry Moore and Leslie Saeta. Carol served as President of The Guild of Charlotte Artists from 2008 to 2010. Carol is a member of the Guild of Charlotte Artists, Matthews Art Guild, North Carolina Plein Air Painters, and Plein Airies.
