| Introduction | My friends call me "Knock". I'm a philosopher, entrepreneur, hit man, and concerned citizen. I have degrees in English and Computer Science. I have worked as a technical and business writer, editor, teacher, programmer, and website developer. In management positions related to the above, I've hired (and fired) more than 500 people. I've designed and managed retraining programs in companies and at colleges to help people change professions. One of my programs, which ran for three years, had a 100% placement record. The success of those graduates, and those I sponsored through similar programs inside companies, is my proudest achievement. |
