| Introduction | A Parish Clarke is fond of wordplay, e.g., the interaction between his surname and his vocation: Clarke = clerk (or clerke), in former times, a parish priest. In the UK, both are pronounced the same. A native of Waltham, Massachusetts, he received his BA from Wheaton College (Illinois), where he majored in Theater. After enjoying careers as a corporate trainer/consultant for Bain & Company and professional singer, Fr. Clarke received his MDiv from Weston Jesuit School of Theology/Boston College School of Theology and Ministry. He was ordained a priest in The Episcopal Church in 1999. Occasionally retired, he most recently served as Rector of St Paul's Episcopal Parish in Malden, Massachusetts. He and spouse Bill live in Malden. |
