| Introduction | Irene has one dead husband (Bob), one live one (Mike), two boys, Arthur(8) and Henry (11), three step-children, Sam(13), Natalie(15) and Aubrey(18), and two cats (Max and JoeBob). She resides in Wauwatosa, WI in a three bedroom bungalow. Irene quit her social work job to complete a book that chronicles her late husband's life and death, how she first lived with the grief, and then beyond it.
