| Introduction | Growing up in South Dakota inspired me to have a hobby; there's not much for "girly girls" to do there. My grandmother taught me to sew when I was 8 and I cherish that I even know how. I watched my mom crochet countless doilies, afghans, angels and tablecloths growing up but I didn't pick up a hook until I had my first child. Sometimes I see her hands in my own when I spend my evenings creating things that make others happy. |
