Introduction	Through years of cooking for my Greek husband, two girls who now live in Greece, and friends, I have gained popularity with my cooking; I've been asked for recipes countless times yet I never have a recipe to give as I am, what I call myself, a “Dump Cook”. Cooking is a pleasure; a cook from a little girl, I always had the passion. Spending many a summer in Greece at our second home, I’ve sort of adopted the Mediterranean style as my “go-to” and the Greek mother attitude of feeding the brood amply, with lots of love. I devour cooking magazines and books, cooking shows and have travelled and cooked extensively. I am diverse in what I cook and go through different periods of interest from homemade jams to stir frys to breads to handmade pastas and decadent soups (a Dump Cook favorite!). Improvisation is my greatest tool in cooking; having all of the ingredients for meals on hand just after food shopping day and then as the week goes on having to rely on what is left in my fridge, freezer and/or pantry to create something new. This blog is my attempt to finally share with you my process and the resulting meals and creations. Enjoy!
