Introduction	After 9 months of braces, I underwent double jaw surgery at the Mayo Clinic on August 4, 2010 to correct my under/open bite. My top jaw was undeveloped so they brought it forward and set my bottom jaw slightly back. Now, I'm completely recovered & my braces have been removed. People ask me all the time if I would do it again after it being such a long and sometimes painful process and if it was worth it. The answer is most definitely "yes".
