| Introduction | Originally from New York, my husband and I moved to Florida with our three young children. I’ve worn several hats in my life—started out working as a legal secretary while studying art, taught painting and drawing for a number of years, then worked for my church until I retired. During that time I obtained a degree in marriage and family therapy and did individual and family counseling as my ministry. Reading has always been my pleasure and I soon discovered I love writing too. Now that I’m retired there is plenty of time to write, which makes me very happy. I’m currently writing a sequel to Betwixt and Between, my first book for young readers. The sequel is entitled Above and Beyond. Hopefully, it will be ready for publication in the near future. Long Shadows, a cozy mystery, is a change from my writing for young readers. It's a novel for us grown-ups and portrays a house filled with people who have secrets from each other and from the world.
