| Introduction | I am an Amercian (from Boston) who has lived in the UK since 1973. I am a sociologist who specialises in qualitative research methodology and software that supports qualitative analysis. I have worked in academia in a health services research unit, in a social policy dept, and in a management school - where I was Director of Graduate Research Training and supervised many qualitative PhDs. Since 1997 I have my own business consulting and training in software that supports qualitative analysis. I am married to Mick (a Brit) and am mother to Laura (age 20), step-mother to Julia, Tom, and George; and grand-mother to Jamie (10), Charlie and Danny (twins)(8), Oliver (7), Chloe (4), Rebecca (4) and Georgie (2). |
