| Introduction | I am an average Radiologist in an average practice in an average town in the South. When it came time to replace an aging PACS system, I tried my best to learn as much as I could about what's out there, and it has become an obsession ever since. Obviously, I am posting my own personal opinions and observations here; take them for what they are worth. No divine knowledge or inspiration is implied. These are my opinions, and mine alone. They do not necessarily reflect the opinions of my group, the facilities at which I work, my wife, my kids, my dogs, or anyone else. By the way, the nickname is not intended to offend. I had to choose a discussion board title to throw off a vendor, and I went for something that I thought no one would associate with me! The vendor figured it out in five minutes, but the name sticks to this day.... |
