| Introduction | I am a social worker and work in the behavioral health field. I've been a part of the FA movement for 8 years and I love being part of a movement that stands up for fat rights and acceptance. I also love to knit, crochet and sew. My grandmother taught me to knit when I was a pre-teen, but I never really stuck with it. I picked it up later in HS when a teacher offered to reteach me. Sewing I learned in school when I took Home-Ec. Didn't do much sewing after that, but years later a friend retaught me. I think its a shame that schools are taking away sewing. I think its a skill that everyone should know how to do. I also taught myself to crochet a few years ago |
