IntroductionI have decided to start an online writing club. We need a support group--like a 12-step program--only for writers. My friend, Loretta McNaughton, told me about a book of poems called "The Blue Hour." So she and I, for quite a long time, agreed to join one another at the Blue Hour, that hour right before the sun comes up, to write every day. Then we got busy and neglected that commitment. Now I know that some of you aren't "morning people." You may only write when the moon is out or "once in a blue moon." [FYI: the term "blue moon" refers to those times when a full moon appears twice in the same month.] No problem, you can still join this writing club. There are no rules, no meetings, and no dues. I promise not to bombard you with emails. To join you simply have to make a commitment to write something daily or weekly or monthly. It can be anything. No one else will be grading it! You can share it with the rest of us only if you want to. The purpose of the Blue Hour Blue Moon Writing Club is to support and encourage one another to write. I believe that everyone has a story to tell.
