I love old hip hop and rap, spoken word, and also appreciate alternative rock, some punk and ska, weird atmospheric or ambient stuff(ie trip hop), classical, breakbeats, some IDM, and any random obscure tune that pushes boundaries and yet maintains it's soul. |
| Favorite books | I think it is silly to name individual books as I could go on forever. Also you need to read the span of novels by an author to understand their writing and purpose. If I had to choose one novel it would be Mad Shadows by Marie-Clair Blais simply because it effected me the most. Some writers I enjoy include Edgar Allen Poe, Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Heidegger, Aleister Crowley, Emily Dickinson, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Fyodor Dostoevsky, William Shakespeare, Robert Frost, William Blake, William Wordsworth, Jim Caroll, Mary Shelley, Percy Shelley, Søren Kierkegaard, Aldous Huxley, Lewis Caroll, Allen Ginsberg, and so many more. |
