| Introduction | I am a graduate of Western Washington University embarking on my journey as a new teacher. My mom tells the story of how I came home from kindergarten and announced that I wanted to be a teacher. Fitting that my first full-time teaching position is that of kindergarten teacher. I have worked with children in a variety of capacities for the past 12 years. This last year I worked a substitute teacher and can officially say that I have taught every grade level from preschool through high school. I have been a student for the past six years obtaining a B.A. in Communication and teaching certificate with endorsements in Elementary Education and English Language Learners. |
