Introduction	I am a 30 year old woman who is married and has a 5 year old son. Since being married I have gained a whopping 88 pounds. That's right..I said it. My poor hubby has probably gained the same amount if not, more. I have tried the South Beach Diet, MRC diet (Metabolic Research Center), Weight Watchers..three separate times, Slim Fast, Cabbage Soup diet, DASH Diet (a diet to help lower blood pressure) HCG diet and have tried dieting alone. Most of these diets have worked but I was always hungry. I have decided to turn to Weight Loss Surgery. Since 2007, I have been declined by my insurance company twice. This year 01/11 is was approved for gastric bypass but I chose the Lap-Band instead. On January 24, 2011, I had surgery for the Lap-Band. I chose to Blog about this journey I am about to embark on whether I'm feeling good or bad. This will be my open diary.
Interests	Photography, listening to music, I'd love to travel the world.
Favorite movies	Miss Congeniality, The Color Purple, The Imitations of Life (LOVE IT!!!) Any Comedy, Action or Dramas really.
Favorite music	R&B, Hip Hop, a little country music, pop, 'Ol Skoo Jamz.
