| Interests | Film, music, writing short stories, reviews, and scripts. And now, a blog, it would seem. Recently took my first foray into surfing, after 25 years of worrying how a wetsuit would affect the shape of my junk. Up in my trunk. Also some sports. On TV. Im also working on a novel right now which the publisher in my head is very excited about. |
| Favorite movies | Dawn of The Dead, Night of the Living Dead, Shaun of the Dead, 28 Days Later (Hark, mother, a theme is occurring!), anything from the Tarantino and Rodriguez stable, and all those quiet existential flicks such as Stranger Than Fiction, Adaptation, etc. Former film student so will practically watch anything really. Apart from the Bratz Movie. I'll do anything for film, but I wont do that. |
| Favorite music | Slowly branching out with my musical tastes, alot of classic punk rock and modern pop punk initially, than got into bands like Sublime, the Stones, Beatles, The Jam, Nirvana. Love old school rock n roll such as Elvis, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and of course Johnny Cash. Currently exploring non violent hip hop. Struggling.Its like finding a pacifist's needle in a pistol whipping haystack. |
| Favorite books | Anything by Stephen King, such a descriptive (sometimes too descriptive!) writer. I adore the melding of music and everyday characters that Nick Hornby oversees, and am currently reading World War Z, a must for any Zombie admirer. Soon to be a film, featuring...Brad Pitt. I also love music bios, currently reading Cash, by Johnny Cash. |
