| Introduction | My goal in writing this blog is to inspire those of us who have dealt with difficulties in their lives to realize that those hardships do not have to be chains. That those difficulties can be formed into wings which can be used to reach heights they never thought possible. I've had tremendous learning challenges all the way through school and college. Just now, I am beginning to realize those struggles where the best thing that could have happened to me. I believe my experiences can help people see their lives paths a little clearer. For this reason, I have decided to set a career goal to start a business as a professional speaker. I have a long road ahead of me to reach my goal, but I think it will be fun. I have been a member of Toastmasters International since February, 2003 and I have received awards such as First place in the 2007 Area 13 International Speech contest and First place in the 2006 Area 13 Humorous Speech Contest. |
