Introduction | I live in New York, work in TV, love pop culture and am glued to my iPhone. I'm one of those crazed Facebook people who will spend time I don't have looking at the wedding pictures of people I don't even know. Needless to say, I am easily entertained, and never more so than now as technologies advance and I can watch full episodes of Gossip Girl online instead of continually crashing my DVR. I also think there is this terrible stereotype that women and tech don't mix, so I figured I would blog about my experiences with entertainment and technology to help show that women can tweet with the best of 'em. |
Interests | I grew up glued to our TV. Friday night was movie night. When company came over I usually couldn't be bothered to put down my book or stop writing away my teen angst. Now that I am (debatable) a grown up, I can actually hold a conversation, but I still love to be entertained and look for my media anywhere I can get it. |
Favorite Movies | I am a huge movie buff. I'll watch almost everything and really love classics like The Godfather, Citizen Kane and anything Hitchcock. I am that annoying person who is always saying "They don't make good movies any more." However, I also love cheesy romantic comedies too like When Harry Met Sally and You've Got Mail. Oh, I will watch Field of Dreams any time it's on and cry every time I hear Kevin Costner say "Dad, Do you want to have a catch?" |
Favorite Music | My music tastes are pretty eclectic, and while I love the classics, I am always looking for something new to sing along to. I'm not a big fan Reggae. |
Favorite Books | I'm all over the place on this one and there are just too many books I've read over the years that I couldn't do without so I'll just say...I love The Great Gatsby, but my most recent fave read was Devil in the White City. |
