Born in New York and raised on the island of Puerto Rico, my heart beats to the rhythm of our Latino roots. As a U.S. Army veteran, I’ve seen the world through diverse lenses, deepening my appreciation for our cultural identity and the stories that connect us all. Now, as a historian, I explore the intersections of identity, culture, and the events that shape our societies. From political struggles and social movements to cultural expressions like music and literature, I see history as a mirror reflecting where we come from and where we’re headed.
