| Introduction | The Oregon Travel Experience is a semi-independent state agency with a mission to create a great visitor experience by providing directions to destinations, connecting travelers with Oregon's resources, and ensuring safe and convenient travel. We provide programs and services such as blue interstate logo signs, brochure display programs, rest supervision, Travel Plazas, business listings on Trip Check.com and other destination off-interstate signs. The agency also administers the Oregon Heritage Tree and Historical Marker programs, as well as overseeing the volunteer non-profit Free Coffee Program in TIC supervised rest areas. We help build community coalitions and partner with local businesses and agencies to serve the motoring public. |
