The first time you had your shoes taken off - how surprised were you to see that you still had toes?

This was quite shocking because, since I have nine tentacles with chitinous pads beneath, I never wear shoes. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that I was drunk enough to have taken a shoe from each person at the party and squished my tentacles into them! Thank goodness, the two toes that I had purchased in the Dweezil-dob Nebula were still attached.
