| Introduction | We are residents of McHenry County Illinois, who are concerned about the direction our County Planning Commission is taking us in the 2030 Land Use Plan. We will share our concerns here and are very interested in your opinions. We believe that our farmland must be preserved and will be more valuable as farmland in the near future than it will be as developed land. We believe that our water supply must be respected and no development should compromise our watesheds and our aquifers. The plan as written, compromises both farmland and water supplies.
