Introduction	Hampden-Newburgh Little League played it's first games in 1958, and now 51 seasons later hosts a combined 23 teams from baseball and softball. There are 6 teams in the Majors and 7 Minors baseball, 3 Junior League baseball teams, and 2 Senior League baseball teams. There are 4 Minor softball teams, 1 Majors softball team, and a Junior League softball team in it's second year. The 2008 Junior softball team is the defending District 3 Champion from 2008. Approximately 280 children play in the HNLL from ages 7-16.
