Occupation | Football Investment Analyst |
Location | Isle au Haut, Maine, United States |
Introduction | I've worked as soda-jerk, glass plant factory worker, banker, personnel technicial, employee relations officer, attorney, football investment analyst, and caregiver. I'm not sure I was ever very good at any of the jobs. I used to get by on charm and good looks, but now being over 60 and forty pounds overweight, that no longer flies. By choice, initially to remain private, I became shallow and superficial; in the beginning, it was an act, but after years of acting that way, I realized that I am now, and have for some time truly been, shallow and superficial. Truth and falsehoods, fact and fiction, and reality and fantasy - they have all merged into one amorphous notion in my existence, and I just say what comes into my head for the purpose of my own amusement or entertainment. If it happens to amuse others, that's O.K., but it is not important that others be amused by what I say. Four years ago, my older brother was asked, "Does he ever lie about anything important?" He thought for a minute, then answered, "No, I don't think I've ever heard him lie about anything important. I've never heard him say or speak about anything important in his whole life." |
