Introduction | I'm very new to cardmaking, and am a total amateur, but with each challenge I learn something new. If the card sketch I'm following allows, I make cards that measure 5.5" x 4.25" so I can send them to "Operation Write Home," a wonderful organization that then forwards the cards to our American troops so they have unique, handmade cards to send to their loved ones. I'm disabled, and don't have many people in my life to send cards to, so this is a perfect activity for me. I've been very pleasantly surprised that people actually look at my cards and comment. Everyone has been so kind and thoughtful, it has truly touched my heart. In fact, I am so impressed with all of your amazng cards, I picture myself on my knees and bowing, repeating the mantra "I am not worthy!" over and over again. |
