| Introduction | I am a Brit who came to America 15 years ago to see and experience this great continent. I am now living in the Heartland of America, which has been interesting and there have been a few people and families who I have really enjoyed. But lets face it, the Midwest is no place for a liberal vegan and the long cold winters suck. So now after 15 years spent in a cubicle, I have a new long term goal - to leave behind working for corporate America and live a simple non-consumer low impact life in Northern California (God's own country) - just as wonderful as the south of France but with the bonus of being devoid of the French. By the way I am a complete atheist so that last statement was metaphorical. This blog is about me becoming vegan and preparing for this new simple life. |
