About me

Occupation 2-3 Special Education Skills Teacher
Introduction I am the proud teacher of the 2-3 Developmental Skills Class at Rosendale Elementary. I received my B.A. from Binghamton University in Psychology with a specialization in Applied Behavioral Analysis. I worked in a highly specialized, research school for students with autism while at Binghamton. I then went on to earn my master's degree from the University at Albany in special education and literacy. During my graduate work, I worked with families through the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD) to find resources for their child. I have been teaching the Skills Development class for 9 years at Rosendale and feel fortunate and honored to have your children in my class. I moved to the Hillside zone in September 2015 with my 6 year old daughter and my husband, Brendan or Mr. H. We really enjoy being outside, being active, volunteering at the food pantry, playing games, and reading. I love to sing and have fun!
