Introduction	Rodger Goodwyn was born in London, England in 1589. He settled in the Virginia Colony in 1620, along with his wife Susannah. While escaping the village stockade in 1602, he fell into a bog, where he was preserved until 2008, when a team of graduate students from the University of West Central Virginia unearthed and resuscitated him.
