| Introduction | I've been richly blessed to participate in nearly every aspect of parish life in the last 14 years of working for the Catholic Church. After being raised Catholic, I spent 1 year as a non-denominational Christian. That experience sparked a love for the Scriptures and a desire to learn more. The continued studies of Christianity lead me back to the Catholic Church, primarily through the study of Church history. In the spring of 1999, I "reverted" to Catholicism and almost immediately, with the pastor's permission, began a Bible study at his parish. After earning an undergraduate degree in Communication, I was hired by a small parish to be their DRE and Youth Minister. Following 2 years of service at the parish, I had the opportunity to move to a larger parish and pursue a master's degree in Theology (MTS) from the Institute for Pastoral Theology (Ave Maria University) which I completed in 2005. In 2012, I was called to Gaylord, Michigan were I served as the Pastoral Associate at St. Mary Cathedral for a year. In 2013, the Diocese of Green Bay, WI invited me to work in the Office of the New Evangelization as the Coordinator of Young Adult Formation & Discipleship. |
