| Introduction | I am a 53 year old mother to two beautiful daughters (Lauren and Hannah) as well as Nanny to a very adorable Grandson (Kyle) and wild child Granddaughter (jessie) Five years ago Stewart decided to leave Churchouse Boats which gave me the opportunity to buy Drascombe by Churchouse Boats. At the end of 2014 I set my New Years Resolution to learn to sail, enjoy being on the water, attend a rally and live aboard on a boat for one night, not too much of a challenge, but a very big one for someone who does not like the water very much. After realising I was serious, Dick Pizey agreed to teach me, so this is a diary of my time on the water, it may not be in a Drascombe, but we all have to start some where. You will also find that if I am not sailing, my blog will be updated with details of what we are doing at Churchouse Boats, along with my family. My 2019 challenge is to sail a Drascombe Lugger on my own. |
