| Introduction | Welcome to my creative journey. As a teacher I hope to inspire you to go beyond what you think is possible. My love for crafting has made it possible for me to teach a little bit of everything crafty. For twenty years I taught quilting classes with emphasis on design. At an early age I recognized art in the printed page. I started making scrapbooks using plain ordinary scissors, letter stencils and rubber cement. I got my first rubber stamp from my aunt. She gave me an old stamp from the bank she worked at. It had the bank's old address on it and they were going to throw it away. I loved to hear the thump it made when I stamped with it. In high school I learned to do typesetting in the printing class I took and later became a printer. So, it is no surprise that I love to make cards and scrapbooks. This blog is a place where I can share my love of paper and ink with others. Again . . . Welcome to my crative journey! |
