| Introduction | As the title suggested I am a grandad, 9 times over, 8 boys and one girl. Until 2023 I was an avid biker with a cruiser motorcycle. Unfortunately, age and an aching body neccessitated me giving up. I'm an ex-Welsh Guardsman and rode with a like minded group of guys who all served with the Household Division. I'm married, kids all grown up and moved out. I like to take my cameras out whenever I can and try to get those unusual and different pics. Mind you I mostly end up with the usual mundane stuff. I'm the cook in the house and I just love to find new recipes and try them out, fortunately the wife is happy to try them. Reading is another great love, especially for the cold wet evenings (or days) during the winter. Mostly sci-fi fantasy but I enjoy a good thriller also. Couple of years ago I took up Petanque (or Boules) at my local club and now play 2 or 3 times a week. Other than that, just an ordinary guy. |
