| Introduction | I am a published singer and songwriter guitarist with a new record from Icarian Records out on iTunes entitled ANNE BOLEYN. The name of my band is Dylan Nirvana & The Bad Flowers. The Village Voice says, "Dylan Nirvana is "like Elvis Costello... Morrissey meets Motörhead". I play colleges and if you like the music, tell your students and the radio station! Having worked in fashion and advertising I have some skill as a designer and illustrator. In fact, I have won some awards and grants. That used to be my main day job. Now I work more for textbook recycling working to put more used textbooks on the shelves. I guess it comes as no surprise my music is a bit bookish even if it rocks pretty hard. I did the artwork on the record too. The story is based on the life of Anne Boleyn from the point of view of her mystic almoner, Lord Grey, in the rising tide of Humanism that lead to the Renaissance and the Age of Reason. |
