About me

Introduction	Experiences beyond my wildest dreams include being a military wife for 20 plus years, surviving three beautiful daughters and having lived in exotic Hawaii. All these filled my life so, that I had no choice, but to write. My first writing victory turned out to be first place for a poetry contest at a local community college. Also, several of my articles appeared in several papers. I wrote for an off-base now defunct military paper, the "Base News" for five years.I received my Masters of Art in Teaching Degree from the University of Memphis. I now teach at a local community college near my home. One of my devotions appeared in "Quiet Reflections of Hope", (Revell, 2009). Since I love being an encourager, I contribute monthly to "The Encourager" a women's newsletter. Although I live in Illinois, I love being near a beach, any beach, and that love has inspired much of my writing.
