Introduction	I have a great love for textiles and especially enjoy embroidery, knit and weave. I feel that progressing onto the Textile in Practice course at Manchester Metropolitan University will give me the opportunity to develop my love for this subject and specialise in the work areas most enjoyable to me, as well as being able to experiment with new techniques. I especially like the fact that the course has been combined into one course from three, so there will be more experimentation especially in the first year, where you are able to develop into a specialised area before choosing the pathway in year two. I am really looking forward to be given the opportunity to study and gain more experience within textiles and to work hard, continuing to develop my skills and understanding for industry.
